Wine gums

Wine gum is a combination of starch, gelatine and bulk sweetener (sugar and glucose syrup).
Traditional English wine gums are flavoured, coloured and hold the characteristic taste of acetic acid. It is from this taste that wine gums have acquired its name, as wine creates acetic acid over time (oxidise).

Wine gums can be made with different textures and can also be made in no-sugar-added” and sugar-reduced variations.
